Will a layout or design be drawn up and presented with the quote?

Humbug Holiday Lighting provides a free estimate and design consultation. We are happy to discuss your ideas and can provide additional ideas as well.

How can I schedule my installation? Can you install or remove lights on a certain date?

Humbug Holiday Lighting strives to install holiday lights on the dates our customer request, but due to changing weather conditions, we cannot guarantee a specific date for our services. If we have enough notice, we will make every effort to meet your scheduling preference.

Where can lights be installed?

Humbug Holiday Lighting makes the holidays easier by handling design, installation, and maintenance of holiday lighting and décor for you. Our passionate crew will evaluate your residential or commercial space and help you with a custom lighting design. Our residential services help accentuate your homes unique features.

What types of decorations do we offer?

Humbug Holiday Lighting offers a range of lights and décor available in an assortment of designs, colors, and styles.

Do we lease the décor, lease it or do we own it?

With leased lighting and décor from Humbug Holiday Lighting, you don’t need to worry about maintaining or storage any materials.  Never worry about own old, worn-out décor again! With our program, the décor is automatically replaced when it needs to be!

Do we need to be home for the installation?

Humbug Holiday Lighting’s trained and efficient installation crew can complete an installation whether you are home or not.

How far in advance do we need to contact you to get a bid and have the work done?

It’s best to contact us as early as possible. The decorating season is short, and our schedules tend to fill up.

How long will the lights be installed for? 

A Humbug Holiday Lighting crew member will work with you to schedule a takedown appointment that is convenient for you.

Who is responsible for storing the holiday lights?

Humbug Holiday Lighting will remove, label, and store the lighting and decor for next year.

Is there a cost to store our lights for next year?

The Humbug Holiday Lighting program is all-inclusive – one price for everything.

Will the Humbug Holiday Lighting Crew use ladders or other professional equipment for the install?

Our price includes everything. We provide all the lights and installation accessories needed to professionally install your holiday lighting.

How are the lights mounted to the roof line/gutter line?

A Humbug Holiday Lighting crew member will work with you to determine the best layout and design along with how best to install all your holiday decorations.

What is the maintenance policy if a light bulb goes out?  If a light bulb goes out, is it under warranty?

Absolutely, this is one of the big benefits of using our professional holiday lighting service. You don’t need to worry about maintenance and repairs, it is all totally covered with us. You only need to call us if any issues arise, and we will be out to you as soon as we can.

Does Humbug Holiday Lighting carry liability insurance specifically designed for holiday decorating?

Climbing a ladder and installing holiday lights is something that is best left to a trained professional. Humbug Holiday Lighting technicians are trained, insured professionals.

Is there a labor warranty just in case the lights stop working or there is a problem?

With Humbug Holiday Lighting, maintenance is included in the price.

Is there a difference between your lights and the ones I can buy retail?

Absolutely! Our lights are manufactured to our specifications – longer-life bulbs and extra fullness. We also feature UL-rated, outdoor cords, a variety of property-friendly installation accessories and commercial-grade specialty décor.

Will you hang my lights? 

No. Our services include everything you need to make your home look great for the holidays. To ensure that our quality standards are met, we only use our own commercial grade lights, products, and fasteners.

Are your lights for sale?

No, Humbug Holiday Lighting only offers decorating services. Our lights are not for sale.
